Aerospace engineer Keith Harrison founded Total Home Technologies on January 2, 1992, and more than three decades later it is one of the most established residential integrators in the Northeast. From its Roseland showroom, THT designs homes where lighting, shading, entertainment, networking and control are engineered as one system, with equipment racks built and tested in-house before they ever reach the job site. The company has been named ProSource Northeast Member of the Year (2021), a Sony Diamond Dealer (2018 to 2023) and a CE Pro 100 integrator, and its Total Home Access leasing program helps homeowners keep technology current instead of starting over every few years.

Life With Total Home
Saturday starts slowly. The shades in the bedroom lift a little at a time, the kitchen lights come up warm, and the network quietly handles three kids streaming at once. Later, friends come over, the backyard music matches the living room, and nobody asks how anything works.
When something needs attention, you call the same people who built it. That long relationship is what Total Home has been about since 1992.

A Project We're Proud Of
The Challenge
A representative Total Home project: a busy family renovating a luxury home in Essex County, near the Roseland showroom. They wanted a real theater for movie nights, lighting and shades that ran themselves, and Wi-Fi that kept up with work calls and streaming in every room.
The Solution
THT designed lighting, Lutron shading, networking, a dedicated theater and outdoor audio as one Control4 system. Racks were built and tested in the shop before installation, the family was walked through every scene, and Total Home Access keeps key equipment current over time.
The Result
One touch starts the movie, dims the lights and lowers the shades. The network stays strong from the basement to the patio, and when something needs attention the family calls the same team that built it.

How It Works
We Listen: We start with how you live, what each room should do and what systems already exist in the home.
We Design: Lighting, shading, networking, entertainment and control are designed as one system, then racks are built and tested in our shop.
We Support: We teach you the system, stay available after installation and help it evolve as your home and technology change.
